Buyer Home Inspections
With the many years of construction and inspection expertise put into action on every home inspection, a buyer can expect a thorough examination of the current condition of the home, including visual observations of the structure, roof, foundation, basement, heating system, water heater, air-conditioning system (temperature permitting), plumbing, electrical, exterior, interior, and many other aspects of the home and other included buildings. J.Wahl Home Inspection takes great care to search for system and major component defects and insufficiencies, improper building practices, general maintenance issues, along with fire and safety issues.

Seller Pre-Sale Inspections
Many sellers want to cover all their presale bases and get an inspection done before putting their home on the market. When you have your inspection completed in advance, you insure against unwanted surprises that could jeopardize your sale. Especially if you’re a motivated seller, a presale inspection will help you streamline the sales process and eliminate any obstacles before they even arise.
New Construction Inspections
J.Wahl is a fan of new construction inspections. As veterans in the construction field, and ones who have built homes, they know just how much can go wrong along the way. They are happy to provide a professional, unbiased counsel on the quality and installation practices utilized in your new home build, offering you peace of mind and adding value to your purchase.

Light Commercial Inspections
Commercial Inspections are very similar to home inspections, just set on a slightly different scale of types of components that make up the property. A client can still expect a thorough examination of the current condition of the property, including visual observations of the structure, roof, foundation, basement, heating system, water heater, air-conditioning system (temperature permitting), plumbing, electrical, exterior, and interior. All aspects are taken into consideration to search for system and major component defects and insufficiencies, improper building practices, general maintenance issues, along with fire and safety issues.
Pest and Radon Testing
In addition to home inspections, J.Wahl offers Sioux Falls and our surrounding communities pest and radon testing. Pests can be a nuisance and termites can destroy the integrity of a structure over time. Radon, an odorless gas that naturally occurs in the earth’s crust, can potentially increase the risk of lung cancer over an extended amount of time. Both inspections, together or individually, can simply be added to your home inspection.
